It's been nearly 25 years since last visit. Planning on Coronado Springs (never underestimate an in-room coffee maker's appeal) & DDP (1sit down, QS & snack). Which sit down & quick service locations for solo female traveller? Dates probably No

Hi, Rochelle!  I have to tell you, as a solo female traveler myself on occasion, I can't think of a dining experience I wouldn't try on my own!  What a great opportunity to enjoy some of the fabulous Walt Disney World dining experiences!

My favorite restaurants right now include Jiko at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Raglan Road in Downtown Disney.  The restaurants are as different as you can imagine, but both locations would be great as a solo traveler.  The atmosphere at Jiko is one of warmth and welcome, and when you go there, you have the opportunity to enjoy the animals out on the savanna before or after your meal.  They do things to a filet mignon and macaroni and cheese that will make you want to eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

I had the opportunity to enjoy a dinner at Raglan Road on my own not too long ago, and I loved sitting outside and people watching - plus it was a good spot to catch up on my reading.  It always seems to me that the waiters are a bit friendlier if I am there by myself - spending an extra minute or two to chat.

For quick service, I like the Tangierine Cafe at EPCOT and Columbia Harbor House at the Magic Kingdom.  Both locations have nice selections, and while I like Columbia Harbor House for the cool indoor dining, I like to grab a platter from Tangierine Cafe and head to a bench overlooking the water.  It's a nice afternoon break!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
