Greetings, Jessica, and welcome to planDisney! Like you, I enjoy an elegant meal with my fellow princesses just as much as a rough and rowdy safari with some wild characters. So let's look at how these two breakfast experiences compare for your next
Walt Disney World Resort visit.
Tusker House Restaurant at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is served buffet style. The latest breakfast reservation is around 10:30 AM, and lunch begins at 11:00 AM. If you book a breakfast time, you will only be charged the breakfast price. If your party is still enjoying a wild time with Donald Duck and pals past 11:00, your server will typically let you know when the offerings on the buffet are about to change. You can head to refill your plates for one last round of breakfast yumminess, or your server might even offer to bring you more breakfast items from the kitchen.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at
EPCOT is a bit different. This royal breakfast is served family-style, meaning platters of breakfast dishes will be brought to your table. Your regal servers will bring extra items as you request them. If you book a breakfast time at this location, you will be charged for breakfast and will only be served items from the breakfast menu while you dine among princesses.
When you book dining on your
My Disney Experience mobile app, available times are divided by meal times. On the app, tap the plus sign at the bottom of your screen and select "Check Dining Availability." You'll choose your party size, tap the date on the calendar, and then you'll see the option to choose "All Day." I recommend you select that option, and the times listed for each restaurant will be marked breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Jessica, you can't go wrong with either of those two dining experiences, so my final tip is to book both! They're very different, and your party will meet a wide variety of characters. I hope your visit is full of both tiaras and safari helmets! Imagine the memories you'll make! Please stop by
planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
