Hi Michelle!
You've come to the right place, here at
planDisney, to get all of the tips and tricks you need to plan out your Walt Disney World vacation!
I recommend starting on the Walt Disney World vacation
planning page. From there, you can click on "Book Your Vacation Package" and you will see a listing of the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels you can select from. The resort hotel name is listed on the left and the price per night is listed on the far right. Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are categorized by "value," "moderate," and "deluxe" options and the prices vary depending upon the time of year you visit When you conduct your search, input your desired check-in and check-out dates to customize the pricing and hotel availability. You can also choose the room type, which varies depending upon the resort.
From a value resort perspective, I personally love
Disney's Pop Century Resort. The rates are wonderful, the theme is fun, and you can take
Disney's Skyliner transportation to
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios! No matter which resort you choose, I highly recommend staying at one of the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels. There are so many
benefits, including complimentary transportation, more time in the parks, and amazing amenities, such as
Movies Under the Stars.
After you select your dates, resort, and room type, you can add your
theme park tickets. You will see that you can choose "No Ticket" or multi-day tickets. You can also choose between a "base ticket," "park hopper," "water park and sports," or "park hopper plus." You can also add the Genie+ service to your tickets from this screen. You can price out different options, playing around with the dates, resort, and ticket type.
To visit any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, you do need to have a valid park admission and a park reservation via the Disney Park Pass system. Prior to purchasing tickets, you can check out the
Disney Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar for your desired date and park. Once you purchase your theme park tickets, you can make your
park reservation. I highly recommend making your theme park reservation as quickly as possible after purchasing your tickets to ensure availability.
If you have any other questions as you are planning your Walt Disney World vacation, please come back to planDisney and let us know!
Magically,
Stacy
