We have narrowed our upcoming trip down to two times. We are looking to visit either Nov 12th-19th or Nov 26th-Dec 4th. Would either be better as far as crowds and cooler weather? Also, do you have to go to the Christmas Party to see the Christmas parade?

    Hi Leslie!

First of all - you've narrowed it down to two great times to visit Walt Disney World! The parks in the Fall are my favorite! The weather is beautiful. Its cooler but the days are still warm enough for a swim during the days.

If I had to pick between the two weeks, my preference would be the first week: Nov 12 to 19th. Since the second week overlaps Thanksgiving weekend, your second choice will have a more crowds. Both weeks are comparable weather-wise.

During this time, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be the only way to see the Christmas parade. The party is also a great time to see special holiday shows AND to see snow on Main St. Don't miss the Castle lighting ceremony! It is incredible!

Good luck picking your vacation time!
