Hi Nancy, We will be leaving for the 4 night Disney cruise out of Galveson on Dec. 31, New Years Eve. Since this is the day we leave do you think casual will be ok to dress for the New Year's celebration that evening?

    Ahoy Sara!
Ringing in 2014 on the high seas will be the perfect way to celebrate a pixie dusted start to a new year!  I checked the schedule for your particular sailing and the first night is scheduled to be Formal.  With this day being the same as embarkation day, I'm sure there will be Guests in more casual attire so it is up to your crew on whether or not you want to dress for the occasion.  With it being a special evening, the characters and crew will be sporting their tuxedos and gowns, and the ship's photographers will be capturing lots of magical moments in the lobby atrium and in the dining rooms.  If you want a special photo of your family, you may want to consider dressing up since the other nights on your sailing are all casual.
I hope this helps, Sara!  If you have any additional questions, please let me know!
Have a magical day and thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!
