Hi Nancy! Thank you so much for answering my question! I'm torn between doing a 7 night eastern car. cruise, or doing a 4 night bahamas cruise and then going to WDW for a few of days after the bah. cruise. What would you recommend? Thanks for everything!!

    Ahoy Dana!
Thanks so much for writing back!  Both of these Disney vacations sound fabulous to me, and many magical memories will be made regardless of your tough decision!  Personally, my family loves the longer sailings because there is so much to do onboard the Disney ships that we like to have as much time as possible to enjoy it all (or at least try)!  Seven-nights just means more time to experience the fabulous entertainment, exquisite dining rooms, phenomenal kids' programming, adult-only areas of the ship, and of course more time to be touched by the magic of Disney at sea!  The Eastern itinerary is fantastic and the enhancements Disney added to the Dream's sister ship, the Fantasy are spot on for seven-night cruises!
A four-night sailing paired with a Walt Disney World stay provides you with the best of Disney on both land and sea!  It will be much easier to disembark the ship if you know you are headed for a few days of fun at Walt Disney World.  You will love the Disney Dream and with a day at sea, you will be able to explore all that she has to offer including a few exhilarating rides down the AquaDuck!
I really think your family will be happy with either magical vacation, Dana!  Have a look at the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream on the Disney Cruise website and also at the ports of call.  Both cruises visit Disney's Bahamian paradise, but the Eastern Caribbean is going to give you the opportunity to see and do more ashore with the extra time on the ship as well!
It really is a hard choice so please keep me posted on your decision!
    Good luck!
    Nancy
