    Hi, Nancy! Is there a required per mile time when running the 5K on Castaway Cay? What time does the 5K begin?

    Ahoy Cathy!
    It is wonderful to hear from you again!  As a runner myself, I love that Disney Cruise Line offers a "RunDisney" event on their private island of Castaway Cay!  My husband and I have both run before and enjoy the flat, paved path surrounded by the natural beauty of this Bahamian paradise.  Since this is not a race, there is not a required per mile time, and the castmembers operating the time clock will stay until runners are finished.  The sign-up and actual start time will be listed in your Personal Navigator the night before your arrival at Castaway Cay.  Times have varied in the past, but you can usually plan on an 8:30-8:45 sign-up and 9:15-9:30 start time.
