    Hi Nancy, I really need some help with this one. We are taking our first disney cruise with our 6 year old (turns 7 on the cruise!). It's the 4 night DREAM to Nassua and Cast away. Trying to decide if it is worth seeing atlatis?

    Congratulations on your first magical voyage onboard Disney Cruise Line, and celebrating a special occasion will make it even more memorable! 
    The Atlantis Port Adventures are quite popular with cruise Guests, and I have personally visited this beautiful resort as well.  The Aquaventure, the water park at Atlantis, is a lot of fun, but Guests do have to be at least 48" tall to ride all the water slides.  My seven year old has just reached 48" tall so this may factor in to your decision.  Since you will get to enjoy the beach on Castaway Cay, you may want to hold off on the beach excursion since no access to the water park or pool is permitted.  Although expensive, I don't think you will be disappointed in one of the dolphin experiences offered.  This once-in-a-lifetime interaction might be something to consider if your son/daughter is interested in these amazing mammals.  The least expensive option is the Discover Atlantis tour, but only includes a tour of the resort and the aquarium.  The marine life is spectacular so this could be a possibility. 
    Another idea is to enjoy the ship as your destination on your day in Nassau.  You will find the pool area to be less crowded, and it will be the perfect time to zip down the AquaDuck for an exhilarating ride!  The cruise staff will have lots of fun planned so it might be a nice to enjoy the onboard offerings.
