    Hi Nancy! Can Disney gift cards be used on port adventures at Castaway Cay? (ex - snorkeling, parasailing) I ran the 5K on Castaway Cay several years ago. Do the 5K runners still get off the boat early or is it the same time as all guests visiting CC?

    Great to hear from you again!  Disney Gift Cards can be used to pay for Port Adventures.  Any Port Adventures booked will be charged to your stateroom account so just stop by Guest Services at anytime to apply the gifts cards to your account. 
    I've also enjoyed running the Castaway Cay 5K when I have visited Disney's little slice of Bahamian paradise!  Procedures can vary, but usually you meet onboard around 8:15 in one of the lounges to sign-up and pick-up your RunDisney bib.  You can disembark the ship with the group around 8:30 or meet the group at the start of the run if you want to leave the ship with your family.  If you disembark by yourself, just ask the castmember what time the race will officially begin.  Last time I ran, Guests were already disembarking when we left the ship.
