Hi Nancy, While we dine at Palo the kids will be at the Oceaneers club, what activities will be scheduled for that night(1st night of cruise)? Is it the PJ party? I a little bit have mommy guilt leaving them for dinner...thx

    Hi Shelley!

Thanks for letting me spread a little more pixie dust on your upcoming Disney Cruise!  Your kids are going to love the Oceaneer Club so don't feel guilty at all!  The youth spaces and counselors are amazing, and your kiddos are going to have a blast!  I don't know exactly what activities will be planned, but from my past experiences it usually consists of a Welcome Party and "Getting to Know You" activities.  The PJ party is usually planned for another night.  When you get onboard ,check your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, for the specific offerings for your sailing.

Since you are dining at Palo on the first night of your cruise, I would plan on feeding your kids before you go to Palo.  This is the only night the Oceaneer Club does not offer dinner so I have two suggestions.  When you leave the sailaway celebration, you can grab dinner at Pluto's Dog House or Pinocchio's Pizzeria on Deck Nine before heading to your stateroom.  Another option is to order Room Service and let the kids eat while you get ready for your night out.

I hope my answer helps with your planning!  Please let me know if you have any other last minute questions!

    Bon Voyage!
