Ahoy, Sharice!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Can you believe in a little over a month you'll be on a magical getaway to the Bahamas? I can't think of a better way to get over the post-holiday blues than counting down to an enchanted voyage with Captain Mickey. What a "Dream"y plan!
Sharice, you've asked an excellent question and I'm happy to share good news with you about the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab. Each day the
club and lab will have "Open House" hours, which offers both time for free play and exploration along with some planned programming and activities. This will give your youngest sailor, accompanied by an adult, an opportunity to enjoy time in these imaginative areas during your cruise. Open House hours will be listed in your cruise newsletter and on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app so you'll be able to plan ahead for your visits. Also, the first afternoon is always open to all Guests so this will be a great time to enjoy the club and lab as a family and take pictures of your crew in the themed areas.
I know your little cruiser will love the opportunity to visit the Oceaneer Club and Lab, Sharice. My best advice is to keep your cruise newsletter handy so you can take advantage of all the fun offerings each day. The Disney Cruise Line Navigator app can be downloaded for free on your Apple or Android device before you set sail so you'll be ready to have it at your fingertips once aboard. It works while your device is in airplane mode using the ship's Wi-Fi at no cost to you. Not only will you find all the ship's activities and events on the app, but dinner menus, deck plans and a very convenient texting feature! And if you download it now, it's a cruise countdown!
Wishing you the most magical time on your sailing next month! Please let us know if you have any other questions before the big day arrives!
