my name is scott and i will be traveling to WDW on july 6th-10th 09 with my mom, bestfriend and his mom we want to eat at a different moderate restaurant each night which are the best and secondly we need 2 rooms but only booked 1 could we get the 2nd free

Hi, Scott!  It sounds like it's going to be a wonderful vacation!  What a great son you are to take you mom with you - I may need you to talk to my daughters and let them know how awesome it is to take your mom when you go on vacation.

I am not aware of a promotion where you can book one room and get a second room for free.  There has been a promotion running through Walt Disney World where you could book four nights and get three for free; and there is another promotion running with the Swan and the Dolphin, where if you spend the night there on your birthday, as long as you've booked a minimum three night stay, the night of your birthday is free!  Those are some great offers!

You don't mention whether you are looking for table service restaurants or food court type locations, but some of my favorite meals at the Moderate resorts include the Maya Grill at Coronado Springs Resort and Shutters at the Caribbean Beach Resort.  I have to tell you, on my last visit to each of these locations, service was pretty slow, so plan on spending at least an hour to an hour and a half to have dinner.  The only other table service restaurant a at moderate resort is Boatwrights at Port Orleans and then there is Trail's End Buffet at Ft. Wilderness.  My family and I have only eaten once at Boatwrights, and based solely on that one experience, I don't recommend it to my friends.  Trails End has good food, but there's definitely nothing fancy there.

I hope you have an amazing trip, Scott!
