Hello, my name is Jordan. My and my mother need some help! We are trying to decide which resort to stay at for our November trip. Would any of you guys recommend Bay Lake Tower, Riviera Resort, or Old Key West?

    Hi there Jordan and Sheila,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Choosing the right resort for your Walt Disney World vacation can be a tough decision, as there are so many fun choices, each with their own unique appeal. Let me help you with your decision making process by breaking down some of the best qualities of each resort. You can then decide which features are the most desirable and best suit your family’s vacation needs.

Disney's Old Key West Resort is a beautiful resort, evoking the charm of the Florida Keys right in the heart of Walt Disney World. You can enjoy the delicious table service restaurant Olivia’s Café indulging in some conch fritters or other tasty island menu items. This resort has a Community Hall with tons of activities like shuffleboard, Ping-Pong and billiards as well as four different swimming pools. From this resort you are just a short boat ride from the incredible dining, shopping, and entertainment of Disney Springs

Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a modern lakeside resort, with some extraordinary views of the Magic Kingdom Park; which is just a short walk away. From this resort you can easily access Disney’s Contemporary Resort by the convenient Sky Way Bridge and dine at some of the delicious restaurants such as California Grill or Chef Mickey’s. You can easily access all of the monorail lines, making transport to Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot a breeze.

Disney’s Riviera Resort is absolutely extraordinary as it invokes the grandeur of Europe with elegant grand archways and porticos, European-style cuisine, and Mediterranean-themed pools. You can enjoy a spectacular character breakfast upstairs at Topolino’s Terrace or some decadent pastries from La Petit Café. Staying at this resort also means that you have easy access to the new Disney Skyliner, an aerial gondola that whisks you from your resort to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, providing exceptional views along the way.

I hope that this information helps you to make the very best decision for your Walt Disney World vacation in November. Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your questions!
