Does the name on the eticket have to match the person going?

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to planDisney! Are you counting down the days until your next Disneyland Resort adventure? I hope you're getting excited for all the magic and fun you'll enjoy during your visit!

I'm happy to let you know that it's okay if your plans have changed a bit and a different Mouseketeer is going to use a theme park ticket. Completely unused tickets are transferrable, and you'll simply want to inform the Cast Member at the gate that someone different is using it. Do keep in mind that if it's a California Resident Offer ticket, the Cast Member may ask to see a valid ID to prove residency, but otherwise, a picture will be taken at the time that the ticket is first used to link a particular Guest to a particular ticket. Once the ticket has been used that first time, it may no longer be transferred.

If you need any assistance with your specific tickets, please don't hesitate to call, email, or use the handy dandy Disneyland mobile app to chat with a friendly Cast Member. Thanks so much for coming to see us here at planDisney, Jennifer, and please come see us again if you have any other questions! I hope all your Disney dreams come true sometime soon!
