What is the name of the dessert pictured on the cover of Birnbaum's Walt Disney World Dining Guide 2009 and where can you purchase it. I've been trying to locate the answer to this and can't find it anywhere! Thank you for your help

    Hi Jennifer,

Your question brought out the sleuth in us. Several of the moms did research on this, but it ended up being one of our fabulous cast member contacts who tracked this down. Thanks Tina!

    Here's the scoop:

That dessert from the Grand Floridian Bakery. It was served in Victoria & Albert's at one time. Chef Erich rotates the desserts and it is not currently on the menu - but something similar may come back!

Hope that solves the puzzle for you.

And for those who were wondering, the photo on the cover of the 2009 Birnbaum's Disney Dining Guide is a vanilla cake with unique chocolate markings, topped with raspberries and surrounded with blackberries and oranges. Mmmmm. I'll be dining at Victoria and Albert's for the first time this summer (anniversary dinner with hubby). I'm going to start dropping hints that he should call V&A and have them make it for me special :-)
