    Hi, my name is Caroline and i would like to know when the T Rex restaurant in Downtown Disney will be open?? I want to make a reservation for Birthday, but i don`t know when to call! Please help me, my trip is on december!

    Hi Caroline --

    You're in luck! The new T-Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney opened last week. I have not had the opportunity to try it myself yet, but every report I've read indicates that the food is amazing and the decor is astonishing. I can't wait to try it myself!

    While the T-Rex is at a Disney location, it is neither owned nor operated by Disney itself. Disney Dining is not handling the reservations for this restaurant. In fact, currently the T-Rex is not taking reservations at all, only walk-up guests. I spoke to a hostess at the restaurant today (407-828-8739) who told me that reservations would likely be taken beginning in January of 2009.

    I have heard that wait times for this new experience can be lengthy, so I would try to arrive quite early to have the best opportunity to dine at the T-Rex.
