how can you have a name brick at the entrance of wdw Would like one in memory of my grandson who sadly is not with us anymore but the family would love to see is name there

Lynne, my deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your grandson. I know he lives on in your memories and would be honored to know you wanted to do something so special for him.
The Walk Around the World Bricks that thousands of guests see daily as you walk along the front path way to the entrance of Magic Kingdom began in 1994.  Disney fans were able to purchase a paver and have personal information along with the choice of several designs engraved on it. I am sad to report this program was discontinued in early 2000 to make way for Epcot's Leave a Legacy, which began Fall 1999 and continued until June 2007.
I know this is not the information you wanted to hear from me but I wanted to let you know.  I think your grandson must have been a special young man who must have loved Disney ever so much and I hope every time you visit you can see his smiling face in every magical experience and I hope you make more magical memories knowing he is always with you.
    Much Kindness and Happiness,
    Amy M*o*

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
