Hi, my name is Bob. Myself and 5 guests are visiting the parks from 9/21/2023 through 10/03/2023. I purchased our tickets through the military. they are titled 4-day Military Salute MYW Ticket with Hopper Option. My question is do I need to make reservatio

    Hi Bob, welcome to planDisney!

Disney Military Salute Tickets offer patriotic savings to Eligible Service Members and their friends and family. My heart is full of gratitude for the person or persons that qualify you for such a magical ticket offer. We are the home of the free because of the brave, and there is no better place to celebrate that love of country and togetherness than at Walt Disney World Resort.

The Disney Military Salute Tickets in your possession should be linked to the My Disney Experience accounts or account profiles of everyone in your party at your earliest convenience. The ID number I entered to link my most recent Disney Military Salute Ticket was the 16-digit character ID code found on the back of the exchange voucher my father-in-law received after purchasing the ticket plus the four characters I had to scratch off to reveal. Exchange vouchers come in a variety of forms, but mine was a plastic card with a patriotic Mickey design on the front.

Once your tickets are properly linked in My Disney Experience, everyone in your party must make a theme park reservation for each park day. One person can make theme park reservations for the entire group if you are connected as Family & Friends. Disney Military Salute Tickets include the Park Hopper Option, which lets you "hop" to any of the theme parks after 2:00 p.m. You only need to make a theme park reservation for the first theme park you plan to enter each day. Theme park reservations are required through January 8, 2024.

Disney Military Salute Tickets also require in-person activation before use, Bob. You can activate your tickets at a Guest Relations window located outside of any theme park entrance or at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Each member of your party should be present and a valid and active US Military ID must be shown. If you happened to purchase your tickets through the Shades of Green ticket office, your tickets are already activated. Once the tickets are activated, everyone in your party is free to come and go from the theme parks as they please. While activating your tickets, I recommend purchasing a specially-priced Memory Maker that can only be purchased in-person.

We've covered a lot of important information today, Bob. I encourage you to contact me directly with any follow-up questions.
