Hi! Myself and my husband are travelling from the Uk for the first time to Disney world for my birthday in October and want to attend the not so scary Halloween party, can you assist on how we book that from the uk?

    Hi Andy!
    Welcome to planDisney.

It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK, and I'm so excited to see that this is your first visit, for your birthday!!  So much to celebrate, at the most magical place on earth!

Firstly, remember to collect your complimentary Birthday button from the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel or any guest relations window around the theme parks.  If you have lots of questions about your first visit, please come back again and ask us anything!  We will always be happy to help you.  Also, I recommend taking a look at our planDisney Video Library.  You'll see many of our panelists giving their tips and advice about so many subjects, including the Disney dining plans, thrill rides and Disney water parks - I think you'll find them very helpful.

Unfortunately, at this time, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets cannot be purchased from the UK, nor can our Magic Ticket be upgraded to include these party tickets.  If they are still available you can purchase them on your arrival in the United States by visiting any Ticket Window at the entrance to all theme parks and water parks, or at the Ticket Center at Disney Springs (in Town Center - here is a map to help you find your way around Disney Springs).

You could also try calling the Special Events freephone UK number listed on this Phone Directory up to 60 days in advance.  It's possible they might be able to help, but it's likely they'll advise you to buy your tickets on arrival at Walt Disney World, and I am hopeful that you will be able to secure your tickets, especially if you are flexible with your dates.  Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party does not take place every day, but there will be several dates during your stay that might have availability.  I'm so sorry that we can't purchase in advance (I say "we" because I am from the UK too, and have the same issues with these tickets).

Please come back if you have any further questions - you can send me a direct question if you wish,  and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and updates on events that may be happening during your visit.
