Myself and my family booked our holiday back in March 2020, how do you add park hopper passes to your reservations? Do you have to pay extra or is this included as we booked this before the COVID lockdowns etc?

You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney, Chloe!

I am so excited to hEAR you and your family are planning a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth during the holidays! You’re going to love seeing Walt Disney World Resort decked out in the most merriest decor! It really does feel like the most wonderful time of the yEAR!

Chloe, if you have standard Theme Park Tickets and would now like to add the Park Hopper option, modifications can be made based on how they were purchased. As part of a package reservation, there may be an option to modify through your My Disney Experience account, under the 'My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets' section!

When you find the link to the reservation here, there should be a 'Change Reservation' option that will allow for package modification. Should this option not appear, you can call to speak to a Cast Member at Walt Disney World Resorts Reservations for further assistance! For UK Guests, the best number to reach the Disney Reservation Center would be 0800-1690-730, Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM GMT!

If you have standalone tickets without a Resort stay, these can also be modified, however, it may require a call to Ticket Services depending upon the dates selected. If your dates are for 2021, you can modify your ticket under the 'My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets' option again, this time beginning by selecting the 'Tickets and Memory Maker' option right under that title, and to the left.

Once selected, there should be a list of linked tickets! Under each ticket, there should be an option labeled 'Change Tickets' in blue letters that will allow a modification. Should this option not appear, or for tickets with dates in 2020 that need to be modified out to 2021, you will have to call in and a Cast Member will take care of that for you.

Chloe, as this is a modified version of the Park Hopper option, for your Disney Park Pass reservations with Park Hopper Tickets, you will only be able to book one park per day in advance. On the same day of your visit, you will be able to Park Hop at 2:00 p.m. for the second park you would like to visit. Like standard park pass reservations, this is subject to availability, so I recommend choosing the park you are most excited about first and doing the park that is your second choice as your park hopper option.

There would be an additional charge to add the Park Hopper Option on your tickets, however, the cost is determined by the number of days you are visiting. Generally, the price per day is lower the longer you are visiting, and price points will be visible through the modification process prior to confirmation of changes, or over the phone, a Cast Member will help break it down for you as well!

Chloe, if you have any other questions while planning your magical vacation, we’re all EARS!
