We (myself, DH, DD 9yo, and DD 3yo) are planning a trip to WDW week of Thanksgiving. This will be our 4th trip but 1st at THanksgiving. NOrmally we go end of May. I need help with how warm we need to dress. Daytime and evening? THanks!

    Hi there Tracy,

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! It will be here before you know it! I also love to visit the "Most Magical Place on Earth" the end of May, but am planning a trip in November this year as well! There's nothing better than seeing the parks and resorts beautifully decorated for the Holiday season!

Although the weather can be unpredictable in the fall, the average high temperature in November is traditionally in the upper 70s with an average low temperature in the mid to upper 50s. I recommend packing garments that can be layered. During the day, you may want to pack shorts and short sleeve tops; whereas, I would suggest packing sweaters or light jackets for the early mornings and evenings. You may also want to pack a few pair of pants, just to be on the safe side. You may find that you want to go back to your resort in the afternoon and change into warmer clothing if the forecast indicates a much cooler evening. If you will be dining at any Signature Restaurants, be sure to check the dress code for that particular dining location. Be sure to pack comfortable walking shoes. If you will be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you may also want to pack swim suits since the resort pools are heated year-round. I would suggest checking the Orlando forecast in the days leading up to your trip so that you can pack accordingly. I hope this information is helpful! Please don't hesitate to write us back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Tracy!

    Happy Packing,
    Jodie
