Going to the MVMCP on 12/21 (our first night) and staying until 12/27. Will the parade at the party be the same parade during the day the next week (when MVMCP is over)? Want to make the most of our time at the party!

Hi, Heather!  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party features a parade that is very similar to the parade that will be offered in the Magic Kingdom into the week of Christmas.  I have to say, though, if you can catch it during the party, there is just something a bit more magical about seeing the parade at night!

I love the lights and the colors that seem a bit more vibrant during the nighttime parade during the Christmas party.  And the fact that you can walk down Main Street to scope out your spot while snow drifts down softly is just positively wonderful!

If you are trying to make the most of your time, check out the second parade.  Crowds will be lighter, and I have often found that after that parade, many families with younger children leave.  I can see and do an awful lot after that second parade!

Have a wonderful vacation at Walt Disney World - we go the same time you do, and I can't wait!!
