Kali,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a wonderful event, bringing the festive appeal of the holidays into the most magical place on earth!
Disney encourages you to get into that holiday spirit, and a photo of your family in matching pajamas in front of Cinderella Castle makes for an ideal holiday card! Holiday sweaters are also a familiar site, and frankly, I love some of the ones that I see these days that light up.
For the party, the standard theme park dress code rules apply. That means that they ask you to dress appropriately, and in a manner that is respectful of the other park guests. A few specific guidelines include.
- Masks cannot be worn by guests aged 14 and older unless needed for a medical reason
- For children in masked costumes, their eyes must remain visible
- Clothing that might be more revealing than appropriate for a family environment, or include any objectionable language is also not allowed
When it comes to pajamas, it is this last rule that can require some thought. For my family, it is not an issue. Our matching sets are pretty standard and certainly do not seem to run afoul of what anyone would find objectionable. I am sure you will have a good idea of what is and isn't family-friendly.
BONUS TIPHaving been fortunate enough to have visited the Magic Kingdom several times, my family doesn't always stop to watch the parades. Don't make that mistake!
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is at the top of any party
Must Do! List. It is packed with incredible floats, so many of your favorite Disney characters, and even a surprise guest from the North Pole!
