Hi there, Martin Reginald! Thank you for taking the time to send in your question to planDisney. It sounds like you have a magical holiday planned!
As one of the original resorts that opened in 1971,
Disney's Contemporary Resort's A-frame tower is arguably one of the most iconic buildings at Walt Disney World. There's something so nostalgic about the mid-century decor; every time I arrive at the resort's Grand Canyon Concourse via monorail and see Mary Blair's nine-story mural, I feel like I'm home (when you're there, make sure to look for the 5-legged goat)!
The Contemporary's Main Tower rooms have recently received an Incredibles-themed refresh, and if I must say so myself, they look "incredible!"
Booking a Theme Park View room ensures you'll have a great view of Space Mountain by day and an even better perspective of the
Disney Enchantment fireworks over Cinderella Castle at night. It doesn't get any better than watching this spectacular 15-minute show from your room's balcony in your pajamas! I can confirm that you'll be able to hear the synchronized music by tuning in to Channel 105 on your in-room TV, which will make the experience even better. I promise that it will be the perfect "kiss goodnight."
Don't forget that you can make your Walt Disney World dining reservations for your entire trip starting 60 days in advance (up to a 10-day stay). Located on the 15th floor of the resort,
California Grill is one of the best dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort, and I highly recommend it! In honor of the 50th Anniversary Celebration, California Grill is offering a special three-course tasting meal; the Duck À L'Orange Pizza and Cast Iron-grilled Pork Tenderloin are divine!
I hope all your dreams come true, Martin Reginald! Please stop back and visit us again real soon.
