Hello Mums. 5 Danes leaving for Disneyworld at the 28. th. of June. Diving with the sharks at Typhoon Lagoon - are the lines long ?, can You rent diving equipment ?, for how long time can You dive ? and whats the price? Looking forward to Your answer.Alice

    Hi Alice!

At Typhoon Lagoon, you have two different options to check out the sharks - well, three if you count watching them from the below-water observation area in the "sunken" ship!

First, snorkeling with the sharks and other tropical fishes is included with your park admission. Disney will supply sanitized masks and snorkels. We had no trouble with using this equipment and it fit all of us well, adults and kids alike. Personal snorkeling gear is not allowed within the tank. Children 10 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

If you'd like to spend a little longer swimming with the fishes, you can rent scuba tanks for "supplied air snorkeling" or SAS. With this equipment, you'll be able to spend a little longer in the tanks. The minimum age for this is 5, and the current cost is approximately $20 for 30 minutes.

With both of these experiences, you will be asked to remain in the top of the tank, and to not dive deep below the water.

    Hope this helps!
