HI mums and dad! Thanks so much for the panel! It ROCKS! We are wondering what is ok to wear in the water at the water parks. Water shoes? what about flipflops? and are t-shirts allowed to be worn in the water ? Thanks again! °o°

The primary clothing prohibition at the water parks is actually exposed metal. There are signs posted by the signs at both water parks that guests wearing swimsuits with exposed metal rivets, zippers, or other ornamentation will not be permitted. I have actually seen a guest turned away from a slide for this reason. The rationale behind this is that the metal will possibly scratch or otherwise damage the slide surface.

Other than that, you can pretty much wear what you want at the water parks. I have seen guests wearing T-shirts on the water park attractions, though swim shirts are more common. Water shoes are a great idea. Even though there are pavement sprayers throughout the parks, the sidewalks can get toasty on the toes. Flip-flops would be fine for just walking around the parks, but if you want to wear shoes in the ride lines (again, this is a good idea) you should wear secure water shoes. Something like Tevas that Velcro on would be good. I have also seen some slipper-like water shoes from Lands End that remain secure on the foot with a toggle tie.

If you forget something, just about everything you could possibly need at the water parks is sold there including sunscreen, swimsuits, cover-ups, flip-flops and water shoes, goggles, sun glasses, sand toys, food, towels, etc.

Hope you have a great time!
