Hi MUMS! We are coming to WDW in OCT 09 and want to take the Keys to The Kingdom Tour. How far in advace do we need to book? How do we book from the UK? Also i have heard and seen pictures of a pin included ... is this true? General info? Thanks..you ROCK!

    Hi Jason,
October is a great time to visit Walt Disney World as the Halloween and fall decorations are up and depending on when you arrive, the Food and Wine Festival will be going on at Epcot.

I just took the Keys to the Kingdom tour this past September and had a fantastic time. The tour takes approximately five hours, with lunch included, and a good portion of it is walking around the park. However it is a nice slow pace and there is plenty of time to rest. We learned some interesting facts about Walt Disney World and the Disney family, had an opportunity to experience a few rides with some "behind the scenes" information and spent time learning about the daily happenings at WDW along with a glimpse of what goes on behind those Cast member only doors.

I was able to book the tour ninety days in advance by calling 1-407-WDW-Tour or 1-407-939-8687. Depending on the time and day you select, many of the tours do reach capacity quite early so be sure to call as soon as you can. Remember, you must be at least sixteen years old to take part in the tour.

We did receive a beautiful gold key pin as a gift from our Cast Member guide. I was not expecting the pin and am not sure if it is always given, so you may want to ask when you call to book the tour. Pin or not, I highly recommend this tour and personally can't wait to take it again and again!

    Enjoy,
    Margaret
