    It I have multiple tickets using the lightning lane multipass, do we all have to use them for the same ride at the same time? Can two of us use a lightning lane for space mountain while two use them for thunder mountain at the same time?

    Hello there, Taylor, and welcome once again to planDisney!

    We certainly appreciate hearing from you and I hope that my friend and classmate Greg was able to help you with your Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchase for your party. Once you have purchased this service for the group members who would like this option, let's go over how to navigate booking return times.

    You'll be happy to know that the system is quite flexible and it won't lock you all in to the same attraction at the same time. When you use the Disneyland Mobile App to book an attraction return time, it will give you the option to Confirm Your Party. It will then list all party members who are eligible to book a Lightning Lane for that day (i.e. they have purchased the entitlement and have scanned in to the Parks). There will be a checkbox next to the name of each eligible group member (you DID link everyone's tickets together like Greg recommended, right?) which you may then use to select or omit certain members if they don't want to experience that attraction. Those who did not book an attraction are free to use their Lightning Lanes on something else. Just keep in mind that you may book your next Lightning Lane in two hours or after you've redeemed your current one. With multiple party members going to different attractions, sometimes it can get a little cumbersome to keep track.

    And that's pretty much all there is to it! Even though it's Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, the Lightning Lane system is definitely not something to be afraid of. It's fairly intuitive and I'm sure you'll be booking and stacking Lightning Lanes like a pro in no time!
