I am happy to tell you that there is no need to deactivate your valid 1-day ticket in your
My Disney Experience account. What I would recommend, and has worked flawlessly for me in the past, is to contact
Walt Disney World Resort Ticketing, at (407) 566-4985 and tell them that you would like to prioritize what ticket gets used. They will then be able to go into the system and tell your account to use the 6-day ticket first. Once this 6-day ticket is used or expired, the 1-day ticket will still be active in your account and ready for use. They will also be able to clear out the used and expired tickets from your My Disney Experience account so that you only see the two valid tickets.
Barbara, while I do this on the phone before arriving, the
concierge at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and the ticket window at any theme park are also able to prioritize your tickets. In fact, once I arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, I typically stop by one of these locations, just to make sure I am good to go.
