I have multiple adults staying with me. I checked in and used my credit card, but do not want everyone charging everything to my card. How do I get each individuals card on record for their charges

    Hello Steven,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting with your question. I just spent last weekend with some Disney friends, and we shared a room at Pop Century. We had the same situation, as more than one guest wanted to able to charge using her MagicBand... and we didn't want all of those charges going to my main credit card on file for our room.

Here's what you need to do! You and your guests just need to swing by the front desk at your Disney Resort as soon as you arrive, and let them know you'd like to link separate credit cards for charging purposes. It's ok if you aren't able to do this all at the same time, they can each do so individually whenever they get a chance.

If your friends will be using a MagicBand to purchase Disney food and merchandise, have the MagicBand and each individual's credit card available. Alternatively, the Cast Member assisting you can also issue you a free "key to the world", which is a credit card sized key that can be used for all the same things as a MagicBand. They can link these to each guest specifically, along with that guest's payment method for charging. Both the MagicBand and key to the world can be used for all of your My Disney Experience reservations, theme park tickets, opening your hotel room door, and making purchases. You can set up a charging PIN number in the My Disney Experience app, under Account - MagicBands & Cards, or the Cast Member can also assist you in doing so in person.

This method worked great for us! On check-out day, I received an email with all of the hotel charges, since I was the primary guest who had made the initial reservation. The email subject line was "Your Disney Resort Hotel Receipt" and it included an itemized guest folio of all charges, amounts, and name of guest had made the purchase. Everything was sorted correctly for us. If you don't want to stop at the front desk, I've also had friends who just used this itemized receipt to calculate everyone's charges and settle up afterwards.

Steven, I hope this helps! Please visit us again at planDisney if we can assist with any other questions. And have an absolutely terrific time at Walt Disney World!

    See ya' real soon,
    Tami
