Hi Luella, and welcome to planDisney! We’re so glad you stopped by with your great question, and how exciting that you may have a bit of Disney history in the form of a 2005 multi-day Park Hopper ticket!
The good news is that if your ticket still has remaining unused days and it was originally purchased with the “no expiration” option (which was available for a short time as an add-on),
Disney will absolutely honor it. In that case, you’d be able to use those days for admission without paying anything extra, even though today’s ticket prices have changed quite a bit since then!
Since it can be tricky to tell if your ticket qualifies without seeing it, I recommend reaching out to
Disney’s Ticket Usage Team by emailing ticket.usage@disneyworld.com. If you can include clear photos of the front and back of the ticket, they’ll be able to research it and let you know exactly what value it holds. This process can take a few days, so since your trip is coming up soon, you might also consider heading in person to the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs or any Guest Relations location at the parks. As a Florida resident, that could be a convenient option if you’re within driving distance, and it allows you to take care of things before your magical vacation begins!
Once your ticket is verified, it will be converted into a modern digital ticket and linked to your My Disney Experience account. This is important, because it lets you book things like
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which opens up for on-property Guests seven days before check-in. You’ll want your tickets linked before then to take full advantage of early planning windows.
One last tip: Disney tickets have always been non-transferable, so the ticket can only be used by the person who originally began using it.
I hope this helps, Luella! If you have any other questions as you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, we’re always here and happy to help.
Wishing you magic,
Eean
