Hello MP! Traveling to the parks 1/7-1/14 how are the crowds that time of year generally? We will be in the park 1/7 PM  - a lot say it's the slow time, however with kids not being in school is this week a busier time?

    Hi, Kathryn!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You're going to love visiting Walt Disney World Resort in January. Yes, you may see a few extra people through the eighth because of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend activities. But you should expect to see a pretty dramatic drop in the number of Guests in the parks after that. Many schools go back in session in the first or second weeks of January, so you will not see the kind of intense crowds seen between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

My best tip to avoid the big crowds is to get to the parks early. I especially love early Extra Magic Hours. I have memories of my kids dancing all over Magic Kingdom Park without a single person nearby. It's the best.

Let me know if you have any extra questions before your visit. I'm happy to help!
