Hi MP team We are looking to stay at Vero beach for 3 nights first week of September,My wife is worried about the changing weather around that time. Could you tell me,if really bad weather blows in,what does Vero beach resort do in that situation. Thanks

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for stopping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! How exciting to be planning a trip to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, on Florida’s Atlantic Treasure Coast in September. I personally believe that September is a great time to visit Florida, as you can typically experience fewer crowds while still enjoying plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures. As you will be arriving in the first week of September, you will still be able to enjoy the Resort’s Feature Pool, Tiger Lily Wet Play Area, Pirates Plunge Pool Slide, Port Holes Miniature Golf and whirlpool, which are scheduled to close from the end of the month until November 2020. There is so much to enjoy at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, from golfing to strolls on the beach to Surf School, there is something for everyone at this resort.

I understand that traveling to Florida during hurricane season can spark a bit of worry. Please rest assured that at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort they keep guest safety as their top priority. In the event of a bad storm or severe weather, they follow the guidance of the state or county, evacuating the resort as necessary. I always make use of Travel Insurance and I recommend you research it and see if it would be a good option for your family, to provide peace of mind, during your planning process and vacation.

I hope this information helps you to plan your stay at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and that you have a magical vacation come September!
