Hello MP! We plan on going to Epcot for the day then taking the boat to the boardwalk for dinner - are there good viewing areas on the Boardwalk for Epcots Fireworks? Or would you suggest the Illuminations Cruise? We are on a budget. Thank you

    Hi Lauren,

I'm delighted to answer your question because I consider Disney's Boardwalk Villas my second home. It's my favorite resort because of the proximity to two theme parks and the amenities and atmosphere. Taking the boat from Epcot to dinner is a great plan, but know that you will not get a complete view of Illuminations from that area.  You will only be able to view the fireworks in the sky from that vantage point and will not be able to see anything that is at ground level.  To see the entire show, the Illuminations Cruise is recommended.  Current pricing for up to ten adults is $371.69, but is subject to change based on the time of year that you are booking.  To reserve your cruise up to 180 days in advance, you may call 407-WDW-PLAY.  Or you just might want to walk off your dinner by strolling back over to Epcot so that you can see the entire presentation of Illuminations.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Hope to see you back here real soon if you should have any more vacation planning questions.

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.
