HI MP!! Love your help. If we are staying in POFQ and book dinner at Boma, are we allowed to wander around the resort and explore the savannahs or do we have to stay in a special area? My 6yos first trip. So excited, want to make it special for him. TYVM

Hi Melody! Guests of the restaurants at the Animal Kingdom Lodge are certainly welcome to explore the resort! After your dinner at Boma, you definitely should walk out to the Arusha Rock Savanna viewing area behind the lobby so your son can see the giraffes, zebras, Ankole cattle and other animals. Be sure to talk with the friendly cast members who can tell you lots of interesting facts about the animals, and if it's dark, they even let you use night-vision goggles to spot the animals! Also, be sure to stop by the Zawadi Marketplace shop -- it has lots of unique items that you won't find at other resorts!

Don't forget to request a First Visit button for your son when you check in the Port Orleans French Quarter! I hope his first trip to Disney is magical! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
