Hi MP we are going to Disney the week of Thanksgiving 2011. We are celebrating my Mother in laws birthday and 5 year cancer free mark(which happen to be 3 days apart) My question is there anyway to get her to be like grand marshall of a parade or something

    Hi Susan,

What a great way to celebrate both of these special occasions at the Walt Disney World Resorts! I would definitely note these celebrations on my Advance Dining Reservations as there might be some special pixie dust for her at dessert.

While getting your mother-in-law to be the Grand Marshall in the parade is tough, there are other ways to celebrate. You could order her a special cake by calling the Cake Hotline at 407-827-CAKE. With 48 hours notice, you can have a specialty cake delivered to your table at a meal.

How about a special dinner at Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue or the Spirit of Aloha? These are a fun way to celebrate and extra special guests often get a shout out.

What about a special tour? Or better yet, look at the website with your mother-in-law and see if anything catches her eye. PhotoPass of the entire trip or special shirts designed just for you.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
