We're moving to FL in NOV and I want to buy Annual Passes for our family. For residentpass, what docs are required? We don't have FL IDs, and the house is under my husband's company. Can we proceed?

Greetings, Camila! As a fellow Floridian, I welcome you to planDisney AND the Sunshine State. You're going to love being Mickey's neighbor. My family enjoys the resident discounts and perks, so let's look at what you'll need to show as proof once you're an established Florida citizen!

According to the official guidelines, you can use any government-issued photo ID and one other document showing that you reside in Florida when purchasing Annual Passes or using a resident discount. Some examples of accepted proof include a utility bill, bank statement, or mail addressed to you at your Florida address from a bank or the US government. Be sure that any mail you bring is dated within the past two months.

Remember, you will probably need to activate your new annual pass at any Guest Relations location before scanning into a theme park. This is where you'll show your proof of residency. My favorite spot to take care of purchasing and activating admission is the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, where I can celebrate my new pass with a cookie from Gideon's Bakehouse!

I have the Disney Pixie Dust Pass which is exclusive to residents. It offers weekday admission, and I just added the Water Park and Sports Option. My tip is to add Memory Maker to your pass; I treasure all the fantastic images the Disney PhotoPass photographers snap every time we visit.

Camila, I'm excited about your move to Florida; bring plenty of sunscreen and stay hydrated. Mick and I will welcome you with a great big "Hiya, pal!" Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
