    I will be moving to FL to attend school for my masters degree and to begin my career. My boyfriend will be staying in MA for a while longer. I am confused about resident tickets and how it would work for him and I. I know I could use one but could he?

    Hi Leslie!  Congratulations and moving to Florida, and starting on your masters degree.  What an exciting time in your life!  My husbands family are all Florida residents, and take full advantage of the special ticket options aimed for those residing in  the sunshine state.

    You will be able to purchase some of these great discounts by providing proof of Florida residency. You will need to be present at  the time of ticket pick-up.  

    The following proof is acceptable:

    -Valid Florida driver's license
    -Valid Florida state issued ID card (which must have a Florida address)
    -Valid Florida-based military ID

    If you do not have any of the ID's I have mentioned above you, for each adult ticket you must provide the following dated within the last two months.  They must show your Florida residential address, along with a photo ID.  (If you have bills they cannot be more than two months old):

    -Mortgage Statement
    -Florida Vehicle registration or title
    -Homeowners insurance policy or bill
    -Auto insurance policy or bill
    -Utility bill
    -Mail from a financial institution (this can be a checking or savings account statement)
    -Mail from a Federal, State, County or City government agency

    Since your boyfriend will still be in MA, unfortunately he will not be eligible for these discounts. Hopefully he will get to join you soon, and you can enjoy the magic of Disney together.
