What movies will be showing on the Disney Magic June 18-22?

Ahoy there, Jordan! I'm so happy you sailed on over to planDisney today with this great question!

Your Disney Cruise on the Magic is coming up next month – how incredibly exciting! You must be counting down the days with so much anticipation and joy. What a truly magical and unforgettable way to kick off the summer season!  From the moment you step aboard, you'll be surrounded by endless enchantment, relaxation, and adventure. Setting sail on a Disney Cruise is the perfect way to celebrate the start of summertime with sunshine, ocean breezes, and, of course, plenty of pixie dust!

There's nothing quite like cozying up in the Buena Vista Theatre for a movie at sea! It's actually one of my favorite ways to unwind onboard. Imagine this: the ship gently rocking, popcorn in hand, and a Disney film lighting up the big screen as you're whisked away on another kind of adventure. It's pure magic! While showtimes can always shift like the tides, here's a peek at the movies that are currently expected to be playing during your voyage:

    Elio
    Inside Out 2
    Lilo & Stitch
    Moana 2
    Mufasa: The Lion King
    Captain America: Brave New World
Magic of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point
    Magic of the Disney Treasure
    Snow White (Live Action)
    Thunderbolts*

While you truly cannot go wrong with any of the films on this list, there are a few that have me especially excited! First, is Lilo & Stitch – I've already grabbed tickets to take my Stitch-obsessed nephew opening weekend, and I can't wait to see his face light up! Then there's Elio, the upcoming imaginative adventure from Disney Pixar, which promises to be a stunning visual delight. I also recently watched Thunderbolts* with my two boys (ages 15 and 11), and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! It's packed with high-energy action and delivers a surprisingly powerful message. And of course, I have to mention one of my personal favorites of 2024: Inside Out 2. This touching sequel takes us back into Riley's emotional world, introducing new feelings and even more heartwarming moments. It's an absolute must-see for families.

Once you're onboard, be sure to open your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to check out the most up-to-date movie showtimes. Since the entertainment offerings can vary each day, the app helps you plan ahead and catch all the films you're most excited to see!

It was a pleasure having you sail by planDisney, Jordan! Don't hesitate to drop anchor here again if you have more questions!

    Bon Voyage!
