Hi Stephanie,
Lights, camera, action, and welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with your question.
One of the things I love about Disney Cruise Line vacations is the many entertainment options available. It seems so indulgent to watch a movie in the middle of the day, but that doesn't stop me from visiting the theatre with my favorite snack! During the day, the movies typically lean toward the most family-friendly films. In the evening, you can expect some current releases. In fact, Disney Crusie Line cruises have been known to show movies before they were widely released on land!
Aboard the Disney Wish, you will find two state-of-the-art theatres, Wonderland and Neverland Cinemas (Deck 4, forward) offering an amazing audio and visual experience. At the moment, the Disney Wish is scheduled to show:
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (PG-13)
- The Little Mermaid (Live Action) (PG)
- Haunted Mansion (2023) (PG-13)
- Elemental (PG)
- Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (PG-13)
- Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (PG-13)
- Avatar 2: The Way of Water (PG-13)
- Encanto (PG)
- National Geographic: Making the Wish: Disney's Newest Cruise Ship - (PG)
- Peter Pan & Wendy (PG)
- Strange World (PG
- The Marvels (PG-13)
- Dashing Through the Snow (PG)
- Wish (PG)
- And these Disney+ features: Secret Life of Elephants: Episode 1: Desert (PG), Secret Life of Elephants: Episode 2: Savanna (PG).
Stephanie, remember that entertainment offerings are subject to change so check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for movies and showtimes. Be sure to pick up a snack, like the amazing popcorn in a refillable keepsake bucket from the concession stand before the movie for the full cinematic experience.
Stephanie, did you know you can learn more about the making of the Disney Wish on the complimentary Walking the Wish tour? This tour is typically offered on embarkation day so check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app when you board to view the location and time. Say hi to Rapunzel when you see her hanging around!
Stephanie, that's a wrap on your question, but let us know if you have other questions!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
