Lights, camera, action, Teri!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so glad you sailed by with your question.
Don't you love how there is always something fun happening on Disney Cruise Line ships? Like Alice says, when it comes to things to do onboard Disney Cruise Line, "Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
One of the best-kept secrets on a Disney cruise is enjoying
first-run movies! It is a special treat to enjoy a movie and some popcorn during the day on land, and even more so while cruising! During the day, the movies typically lean toward the most family-friendly films. In the evening, you can expect some current releases. In fact, Disney Crusie Line cruises have been known to show movies before they were widely released on land!
Currently, the
Disney Magic is scheduled to show the following (schedules are subject to change):
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (PG-13)
The Little Mermaid (Live Action) (PG)
Elemental (PG)
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (PG-13)
The Marvels (PG-13)
Wish (PG)
Peter Pan & Wendy (PG) (Disney+)
Next Goal Wins (PG-13).
Sounds like a winning lineup to me! Remember, you can watch movies in the state-of-the-art
Buena Vista Theatre or you can enjoy the open-air magic of the Funnel Vision screen on the pool deck. Just check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app when you board for times and locations of your favorite movies. You can click the heart icon next to the ones you don't want to miss and the app will send a reminder to you about 15 minutes before the show is scheduled to begin.
You are about to set sail on a magical voyage, Teri! Please let us know if you have other questions; we are happy to help!
Wishing you many star-filled moments,
Shannon
