    We just moved to Tampa. I want to take my daughter to MK for her 5th bday, June 8th. This is a Friday. Would it be a better idea to go on Thursday bc of crowds? I know they use to do star wars weekends at this time so crowds were large.

    Congratulations on your move to Tampa. Now that you're quite close to WDW, I hope you have the opportunity to visit often.

    I just checked the touringplans.com Crowd Calendar for you. Thursday, June 7 is listed as crowd level 7 on a scale of 1-10, and Friday, June 8 is listed as an 8 on a scale of 1-10, so there's not a big change in the crowd level.

    Star Wars weekends are still happening and the last one for 2012 is the weekend you're thinking of. If you were planning on going to Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would definitely tell you to visit on Thursday, but since you're going to the Magic Kingdom, I don't think it will make difference either way.
