Greetings, Tanya! Welcome to planDisney and congratulations on your move to Southern California! Three days of fun at the Disneyland Resort with the
Southern California Resident Ticket is a great way to celebrate the start of your new chapter!
It sounds like you now live in an eligible ZIP code (90000 to 93599) but are still waiting for your updated driver's license to arrive. When you use this special ticket, you'll need to
show proof of residence with a government-issued photo ID (such as a California Driver's License or ID card) at the park entrance. Documents like bills or bank statements don't qualify, so you may want to wait until you receive the updated identification that lists your new address.
The good news is that these tickets are valid through May 15, 2025, so there's plenty of time to receive your new driver's license and make reservations.
When you purchase your ticket on the
Disneyland website, you'll receive an email with a link to access your
Disney eTickets. You can print the tickets out or pull them up on your phone. I find it easiest to use the
Disneyland mobile app. Not only can you link your Disney account (and tickets) for quick access, but you can also check wait times, order food, and much more.
Tanya, if you're interested in visiting the Disneyland Resort throughout the year, a
Magic Key pass may be worth considering. They are still currently on sale (while supplies last). Magic Key Holders enjoy flexibility of repeat visits as well as discounts on dining and merchandise,
special extras, and more. As a California resident, you even have the option to spread out the cost over 12 months (after an initial down payment). With a Magic Key, you’ll have plenty of reasons to return to the magic all year long!
Tanya, I am so excited for you to visit the Disneyland Resort to celebrate your arrival to Southern California. Please reach out if you need more information or have further questions. We at planDisney are always happy to help!
Best wishes,
Kriss
