I just realized we will be at Disneyland on the Star Wars Nite on April 29. I think from what I am reading the park will close at 8. is that correct? If we have a hopper ticket will California Adventure stay open? and til what time? thank you.

Greetings, Cassidi, and welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to hear that you have a visit to the Disneyland Resort coming up. You'll be feasting on churros and giving Mickey Mouse a hug before you know it! I was just at the Resort on an After Dark event day, and can definitely help you out here.

You are right, Cassidi – April 29, 2025 is one of the days when Disneyland will host Star Wars Nite. As such, it will likely close at 8 p.m. However, California Adventure should remain open, and with a Park Hopper ticket, you can certainly plan to head over there to finish your day.

That said, it's a little too early to confirm specific park hours since the Hours & Events calendar is updated on a rolling basis to look out as far as 60 days in advance. You should be able to see details for your trip in a few weeks. Based on previous years, I'd expect that California Adventure would close at 10 p.m., but the Hours & Events calendar will tell us for sure.

Keep in mind that after Disneyland closes, many Guests will likely Park Hop to California Adventure, so it may be a bit busier than a typical weeknight. My tip? Try heading into California Adventure before 8 p.m. to beat any crowds who may leave Disneyland right at closing. And while you're there, stop at Animation Academy for a drawing session – it's one of my favorite activities in the park.

If you're interested in staying in Disneyland for Star Wars Nite, tickets for April 29 are still available at this moment. From 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Guests can enjoy special Star Wars Character sightings, themed food and drinks, unique photo opportunities, a party zone, a Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade, and even a demonstration of lightsaber skills. It's a fun event for every Rebel, Jedi, and Wookiee, and a great opportunity to experience Disneyland in a new way.

You can also modify your park reservation to visit the Disneyland Resort on a different date. Of course, this option may not work if you are staying for a specific timeframe.

Cassidi, I hope this information helps your plans come together as perfectly as a fairytale ending. Please reach out if you have any other questions ahead of your visit. We're always happy to help here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon,
