Hello there, Disney-loving friend!
Let me be the first to welcome you to planDisney and offer an even warmer welcome to the Sunshine State! Like Hercules, I have often dreamed of a far-off place where a (magical) welcome would be waiting for me. As you might have guessed, that magical place is Walt Disney World Resor. Thankfully, it's not
too far from my home in North Carolina, but you don't know how many hours I've spent daydreaming about packing up my family and moving closer to the magic. It's like a voice keeps saying this is where I'm meant to be! Maybe one day we'll go the distance and be right where we belong but for now, we'll keep planning our vacations from a few states away.
Since you've already completed your journey I know you must be eager to get started on the fun! You can
purchase standard theme park tickets online at any time to visit with your children. Simply decide when you'd like to visit, how many days, and whether you want to
park hop or stick with one park per day. You can also purchase tickets in person but keep in mind that
theme park reservations are required for visits through January 8, 2024. I'd recommend making sure your desired park is available and purchasing in advance of your arrival.
You'll also find many
special offers for Florida Residents like the current
Florida Resident Disney Weekday Magic Tickets for visits through December 22, 2023, in addition to
Annual Passes available with monthly payment options. Guests hoping to take advantage of these offers will need to
show proof of Florida residency, which can be done both online and in person. Once you've settled into your permanent address and have the necessary documentation you'll be on your way to experiencing even more fun!
If you want to enjoy a little dose of Disney pixie dust without purchasing park tickets why not experience the
holiday fun at Disney Springs or make an advance dining reservation for a character meal at one of the resorts? I love the menu and the vibes at
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera where you can enjoy Breakfast à la Art alongside Mickey and friends. It's the perfect way to soak up some Disney magic while you're waiting for your Florida residency documentation to be completed. I know it might feel like an uphill slope, but I'm confident every mile, and every minute of waiting, will be worth your while!
I hope this was helpful! If we can offer any further assistance or planning suggestions please come back and see us again. We're always glad to go the distance in every question we answer.
Magic and memories,
Amy
