Hi there, Leslie, welcome to the Golden State!
How exciting to move closer to the magic of the
Disneyland Resort. One of the perks of being a Southern California resident are special offers on ticket prices. I'm happy to share how entrance works with this ticket type.
Guests that are eligible for the
SoCal Resident ticket offer must be able to provide valid government-issued photo ID upon entrance to the theme parks. Unfortunately, a temporary or expired ID and/or bills will not suffice for entry into
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park. With only a few days before your arrival date, it may be best to reschedule if you have flexibility in your time. Per the offer details, valid proof of residency will be checked at the entrance.
I hope this helps you make an informed decision on when to visit the parks. The
SoCal Resident Ticket Offer is valid through June 2, so you still have time to visit once your permanent ID arrives. If you are able to make it at your reserved date, you'll be able to experience
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, through April 22. It was such a delightful experience and the food at the various marketplace kiosks was delicious! I highly recommend the pulled pork mac & cheese and Snicker's macaron. You'll also be able to experience
Star Wars Season of the Force through June 2. And, if you want even more magic, at this time
Magic Key passes are still available and you can upgrade the value of your ticket to an available Magic Key pass tier. Be sure to check the
park ticket availability calendars to ensure you can visit on your desired days.
Well, Leslie, I am putting out good vibes that you get your ID in time to enjoy the parks! If you have questions prior to your visit,
feel free to reach out!
Magic Awaits!
Camille
