Hi there, Liv, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for bringing your question to us here on the panel and a very warm welcome to you from the Golden State! We hope you find your time as a resident here memorable and wonderful!
I'm glad that you're already looking at how being a California Resident can get you to the Disneyland Resort more frequently. I like the way you think! The biggest perk for Southern California Residents is probably the
Imagine Magic Key Pass. It's only available to residents within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599 and proves to be incredibly popular because it consistently sells out. Currently it is available for renewal only. Another popular deal is the
Southern California Resident Ticket Offer, which expires on June 2, 2024. You get a 3-Day, 1-Park per Day Ticket for a nicely discounted price and it may be used on nonconsecutive days.
When verifying these location based offers, the Cast Members will request to see your ID to verify residency. The website is very clear in stating that it must be a government issued photo ID that includes your address, so I'm afraid that just bringing mail will not suffice. I'd encourage you to make your way to the local DMV and get the process rolling to obtain a new ID card. Even the temporary interim ID should be sufficient to redeem the Southern California Resident Ticket.
I see that your next visit falls in that sweet spot where the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival and
Season of the Force is going on simultaneously! How fun is that?! I'm sure you'll find plenty to occupy yourselves during your visit and lots of good food to enjoy!
Liv, I hope this was helpful for you and please feel free to write again if you have more questions for us. You're always welcome at planDisney and we'd love to hear from you again. Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
