Having neighbors that really stick to the rules is probably a good thing in most cases, and let’s stay focused on that. In this situation, it may not benefit you. Disneyland Resort considers a government-issued ID that indicates your address as the only acceptable form of identification. That means mail, bills, and even passports don’t work (passports don’t usually indicate your address). I suggest pushing your reservation back to a date that will allow your new ID to arrive. You’ll present that ID at the entry gate, and all will be well from there on.
Aisha, this gives you more time to prepare for the magic. I imagine you’ll visit more often since you’re so close. Take some time to scope out all the park has to offer on the
Disneyland Mobile App. You can change your
park reservations, make advanced dining reservations, and on the day of your visit, purchase and book
Lightning Lanes right from the app. You can even find where your favorite characters will be for a quick picture when you’re there. Also, be sure to get up-to-date on all the latest official news, treats, and merch by checking out the
Disney Parks Blog as you get closer to the big day.
