Hi Susi!
Welcome to planDisney!
From my experience, this is automated and not necessarily something I can personally control. I’ve noticed that members of my travel party who are under the same resort reservation as me will be put under the “We’re Planning Together” section of my Family & Friends List. Everyone else, even if we’ll all be at Disney World at the same time but under different resort reservations, will be listed under the “My Other Family & Friends” section.
No worries, though! It sounds like you’re all
connected via your Family & Friends List already, and that’s what really matters when making all of your plans! When booking
dining reservations or
Lightning Lanes, you’ll be able to select members from your entire Family & Friends List, no matter which section they’re listed under.
If you want to make sure you’ll all be able to see each other’s plans, find the guest’s name on your Family & Friends List by clicking the 3 lines in the bottom right corner of your
My Disney Experience app, then scrolling down to click Profile. From there, click Family & Friends List at the top of the page, then click the guest’s name from your travel party. You’ll see a section in which you can choose the plans that person can see. You can choose to allow them to see all your plans or only the plans you share. I often choose “All My Plans” to make sure everyone’s on the same page throughout our vacation.
I hope that helps! And that you have the best trip ever! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan, feel free to come back and visit us here at planDisney.
