I completely understand that sometimes plans change, and I’m elated to hEAR you’re still planning on visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Kristin, if the reservation you want to modify is your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel room reservation or your
Vacation Package, you will need to
call and speak to a friendly Cast Member at Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and they’ll be happy to help you. Sometimes these changes can be made through your My Disney Experience account, but if your arrival date is only a couple of days away, you would need to call. Please note that any changes are subject to availability, and new rates may apply.
If the reservation you’re speaking about is your Disney Park Pass reservation, you would need to cancel your reservation and then make a new one. However, before canceling your original park pass, I recommend you check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to ensure park pass availability during the date you’d like to visit. Once you see availability, you can go ahead and cancel your original Disney Park Pass reservation by opening up your
My Disney Experience Mobile app, clicking on the three horizontal lines located on the bottom right corner, and then selecting “My Plans.” Next, scroll down until you see the park pass reservation that you’d like to cancel. After selecting the park pass, you should see an option to cancel it. This will take you to a page where you will select who all in your party would like to cancel their reservation and then confirm the selection.
Now you’re ready to make your new
Disney Park Pass reservation! On your app, select the “+” on the bottom middle of the screen and then “Make a Park Reservation.” Once you’ve logged in, select your party, park pass date, and theme park of choice. Follow the steps to confirm and complete the process, and you should be all set!
If the reservation you are speaking about is your
dining reservation, you’re able to modify it through the app, as well. From the “My Plans” page, select the dining reservation and click on “Modify.” This will allow you to change the date of your reservation, depending on availability.
